Today's Entry: Waiting for Mr. No-go

2004-09-20 - 11:55p.m.

It's quiet out there on the streets tonight. Almost no-one out walking except 2 guys trying to cross the Strip on a bike made for one. From the looks of things neither one of them is sober enough to ride the bike alone much less trying to do it together. They landed in a heap on the sidewalk. It would've been funny had it not been for the guy in the pick-up who roared past them inches away.

I'm still waiting for a slowpokey kid to make his grand entrance into the world. He's taken all day to get here. Doesn't he realize his three other siblings didn't cause me this much trouble? Come on now, what's the hold up? Could the current political climate look a little inhospitable from his point of view, hmmm? I wouldn't come out either if I were him.
