And now, the journal dedicated to the child singlehandedly responsible for the world's diaper toxicity crisis: Mr. "Where else would you like me to put it?" -Isaiah

Kelsey enjoyed having her cousin Trina here for Christmas. She is one of David's daughters and the one most like Kelsey in temperament and personality. She just recently got engaged, so Kelsey is enjoying all the discussions of wedding preparations and all the girl stuff that goes along with it!

Mom Miller had the Miller clan (Brenda's side of the family) over for Christmas dinner at her house. This mango and tomato salad masterpiece evaporated just seconds after the photo was taken, along with pasteles, arroz con gandules, and a host of other Puerto Rican cuisine! Isaiah kept asking for more servings of his favorite food, "RI-SHHHH"

Our immediate family and my nephew Danny spent New Year's eve in St. Louis at the Renaissance Hotel. At midnight the fire alarm went off and we all traipsed down to the parking lot for a shivery 15 minutes before we were told it was a false alarm. We celebrated the new year once again the next morning by showing what lack of sleep can do to a family.

We spent the next day inspecting the new Cardinals' stadium going up, and the City Museum - a jewel worth visiting over and over again.

Isaiah's favorite exhibit was the endless explorable steel sculptures that required me to crawl on hands and knees to follow him. One tunnel ended up in the ball pit where Isaiah tried out his hand in ball-throwing warfare. We crawled back into our beds Sunday night completely exhausted.
