A ONE MONTH JOURNAL Sept-2004 And now, the journal dedicated to the child singlehandedly responsible for the world's diaper toxicity crisis: Mr. "Where else would you like me to put it?" -Isaiah Today's Entry: She'd drive an hour for the lettuce2006-01-29 - 9:01 p.m. Are there times when food cravings make persons do irrational things -like drive all the way to Paducah for an Olive Garden salad? I guess so. When we got out of church today, I made the mistake of asking if anyone was interested in italian food for lunch. Of course they were - who wouldn't be? But, since we had recently made the rounds of all the local places like Bennie's, Alongi's, and Fazoli's, that only left Olive Garden in Paducah. No one seemed to mind the prospects of an hour or more on the road, so off we went. While we were waiting for our food, Nathan entertained a delighted Isaiah with faces only Nathan can contrive. Elijah and Danny were in their usual other world, oblivious to anything but their kid's menu connect-the-dot competition. I also caught Kelsey looking hopefully at the dessert menu, but seeing that there was just no room left after three huge salad bowls, baskets of garlic bread, and plates heaped with pasta, she sadly had to decline. - - 2009-02-12 Back in the saddle again - 2008-02-12 Jack makes out like a pirate - 2007-09-29 Cruise control - 2007-02-17 Mexico Orphanage trip - 2006-11-23 0 Comments |
