A ONE MONTH JOURNAL Sept-2004 And now, the journal dedicated to the child singlehandedly responsible for the world's diaper toxicity crisis: Mr. "Where else would you like me to put it?" -Isaiah Today's Entry: Always be thankful for whatever it is2006-02-06 - 7:59 p.m. Even a peanut butter and jelly sandwich deserves a word or two of gratitude. Tonight, with guests over for the evening, Isaiah decided he wanted to be the one to say the prayer over the snacks. This is always an occasion for great humor in the eyes of his older brothers. You see, Isaiah still has a fair problem with getting his diction right. And, though it's getting better every day, there are plenty of surprises that keep the family guessing. After dinner tonight, Isaiah marched around the house with his favorite sword oddly sheathed. His gait was noticeably stiff, and that right leg just wouldn't bend as well as the left. At one point, he tried to draw his sword and lead a running charge down the steps, but he not surprisingly ended up flat on his back. I am quite sure his courage in battle will someday become legendary-- his grace and coordination probably will not.
