A ONE MONTH JOURNAL Sept-2004 And now, the journal dedicated to the child singlehandedly responsible for the world's diaper toxicity crisis: Mr. "Where else would you like me to put it?" -Isaiah Today's Entry: Laptops and Boys2006-02-28 - 9:35 p.m. Brenda and I were almost back from our date night out (Newell House, Toys R Us, and the Marion Toyota new car lot) when we were interrupted while strolling around Toys R Us by a frantic phone call from Nathan. He had apparently been trying to get a drink from the kitchen faucet and inadvertently slipped on a towel left on the floor. His elbow caught the edge of Brenda's laptop-- thoughtlessly left on the counter--and sent it crashing to the floor. Nathan was devastated and completely decompensated on the phone. Brenda had with great forethought backed up all her programs yesterday so the loss was not overwhelming. Accidents will happen, but seem to happen with so much greater frequency when there are boys around. Here is another little boy getting into trouble by poking little holes in several of the grapefruit with his cute little finger... We had to eat all of the affected grapefruits tonight. The fruit lover that he is, Isaiah thought that was just wonderful. Here big sister Kelsey and Jack tried to stick out their tongues in unison. This took some doing since neither Kelsey nor he could hold theirs out for very long without starting to laugh. - - 2009-02-12 Back in the saddle again - 2008-02-12 Jack makes out like a pirate - 2007-09-29 Cruise control - 2007-02-17 Mexico Orphanage trip - 2006-11-23 0 Comments |
