A ONE MONTH JOURNAL Sept-2004 And now, the journal dedicated to the child singlehandedly responsible for the world's diaper toxicity crisis: Mr. "Where else would you like me to put it?" -Isaiah Today's Entry: Cindy Lou Who2006-05-03 - 9:23 p.m. Busy evening for the little guy. He got in a long nap on the gameroom's beanbag before dinner, and he didn't wake up till we had already started to eat. Cindy and her parents walked across the lawn from Mom's place with little Wendell wrapped in his baby blanket to join us for dinner. They only have one more week to go before they head back to Bolivia, to run the TV network (Red ADVenir) in Santa Cruz. Jack is really going to miss his little cousin and when they leave. They still frequently lay claim to ownership of the same toy at the same time. This dispute usually escalates to earpiercing screams, and doesn't stop till parents intervene. The chores get divided among the older kids after dinner. Jack loves helping Kelsey wash the dishes. His clothes and most of the kitchen floor get washed in the process. When Kelsey complained good-naturedly, Brenda reminded her that much the same scenario occured nearly thirteen years ago when Kelsey's unsolicited help in the kitchen led to more chaos than order. Jack's enthusiasm for being in the thick of things is a delightful thing to see. I hope he keeps it a lifetime. Sleep well, Buddy. - - 2009-02-12 Back in the saddle again - 2008-02-12 Jack makes out like a pirate - 2007-09-29 Cruise control - 2007-02-17 Mexico Orphanage trip - 2006-11-23 0 Comments |
