A ONE MONTH JOURNAL Sept-2004 And now, the journal dedicated to the child singlehandedly responsible for the world's diaper toxicity crisis: Mr. "Where else would you like me to put it?" -Isaiah Today's Entry: Back from Mexico2005-02-16 - 7:51 p.m. We're back! Brenda, the older 3 kids, and I went to Puerto Vallarta with my office staff this past week. The staff had a great time. So did we, but the hardest part of the whole trip was leaving Isaiah behind with Becky. Although Becky stayed here and kept Isaiah's schedule pretty much the same, it was still rough on the little guy to have us gone. Becky said he did well for the first 3 days, but really started to miss us after that. It wasn't nearly as much as we missed him. Here are Brenda and the kids on the beach outside the hotel. We spent 26 hours at the end of our stay stranded in the airport due to mechanical difficulties with our airplane. Kelsey had a good time practicing her writer's observation skills watching how the exhausted passengers reacted to unexpected stress! She had some interesting things to say about my staff. Personality changes are dramatic when people are in a crisis. When we got home, you could tell all of us had gotten low on our Isaiah hug fix, so we woke him up and passed him around. He was so excited, he kept running around and hugging everyone. Next time we go to Isaiah's country of origin, we take him along, no matter what!
