Today's Entry: Kelsey debuts on talent show

My Nikon has so much potential, yet I take so little advantage of it. I've held a point-and-shoot so long it gets a little intimidating to have so many options to select. Sometimes I retreat to the safety of the "auto" button and let all the computerized gizmos make the decisions for me. Sometimes, as you can see below, it actually works! Here is Kelsey dressed up in her Indian sari a couple hours before she sang her heart out at a local talent show in Carbondale last weekend. She was fantastic, so poised and articulate. But, sadly, she lost to a rap group from Benton that, although quite talented, was neither poised nor intelligible :)
