A ONE MONTH JOURNAL Sept-2004 And now, the journal dedicated to the child singlehandedly responsible for the world's diaper toxicity crisis: Mr. "Where else would you like me to put it?" -Isaiah Today's Entry: Three Years Ago Today2006-09-27 - 9:00 p.m. Today is Jack's 3rd birthday--but, since the celebration is scheduled for tomorrow, when everyone can make it for the party, we haven't made a big deal about it to him. Tomorrow we will have a bonfire, hotdogs and marshmellows, and all his little buddies over for a hayride around the field. The Coellos and the Stones should be here as well, so the gift we have planned for Jack will be just great for taking his flame Annelise on a joyride around the driveway! We'll have several pictures to post tomorrow of the big event.Earlier this week, Brenda got the idea in her head she wanted to tear down the old wooden fence around the pool. She would like to build up a wooden deck for entertaining, and with the automatic pool cover we'll get installed, it should make it unnecessary to have a fence in the way. Here's Jack jumping in with his sledge hammer and joining us boys in one of our favorite male activities...demolition. Each year, on Isaiah's birthday, Brenda writes a letter to his birth parents and leaves it at the Catholic Social Services office along with current pictures of the little guy. She was all depressed today when her computer crashed in the process of writing his three-year letter. So she'll just have to do what a lot of great writers have done through the ages--start over tomorrow :) More pics of the party tomorrow. -Doug MOST RECENT ENTRIES- - 2009-02-12 Back in the saddle again - 2008-02-12 Jack makes out like a pirate - 2007-09-29 Cruise control - 2007-02-17 Mexico Orphanage trip - 2006-11-23 0 Comments |
