Today's Entry: Getting a taste of life

We're off to St. Louis for the weekend. We'll be meeting up with Brenda's brother Ken (a radiologist)and his wife Roxanne. Their three daughters are the only girl cousins Kelsey has that are around her age. Kelsey has become so comfortable around her 5 male cousins here, as well as her 3 brothers, that she can easily hold her own in any situation. However, she very much likes being with Rachel, Michelle, and Chrissy, and doing "girl stuff".

I'll miss making an entry in this diary over the weekend, but when I return Sunday night, I will hopefully have a few pics of our activities to post.

Have a great weekend. Don't work (or study) too hard. Life is too short to let it slip away always preparing for something else. The older I get, the more I crave to experience every immediate moment to its limit. Even days that seem to demand more energy than I can give, and I feel completely overwhelmed with what needs to be done, offer me again the opportunities to 'live the moment'. Life should be like tasting great food or drink when you're hungry, or like experiencing music or art when you've been absent from it for a while. Even when it's bad, it's usually good. We have the privilege of living this life only once. So, see today's demands and stresses as one more chance to taste life for what it is, and enjoy!
